Endometrial cancer prevention - does bariatric surgery play a role?

Abstract: Once obesity became a global health problem, the incidence of various malignancies reported a significant increase, leading to the hypothesis that a certain correlation might exist. This correlation was evident especially in hormonally dependent tumors such as endometrial cancer and breast cancer. In consequence, attention was focused on determining whether bariatric surgery weight loss induction might play a protective role.
